Let’s face it there is always an event like a birthday party, sports watching party, wedding, for some a funeral and any other excuse to eat bad food.

So I decided to share -what I felt for a long time could be damaging to the fragile non-disciplined person-the way to cheat without the guilt.

When people look at me they think I don't have fun in life by eating fun, fat adding, serotonin robbing, diabetes causing, and depression contributing food. lol (i.e. Ice cream, brownies, cake, cereal ect...)

I am going on record, as I have for years on my radio show to tell you 85% of my diet is perfect, the other 15% off the charts, brownies, a whole pizza and the like.

How do I stay defined and in shape? I compensate for my poor food choices with a plan that does not allow me to feel guilty nor put on fat.

If you read my blog about Burst training and how I applied it my entire exercise life then you know one piece of the pie- haha sorry had to do that- to burning more calories at rest than doing goofy aerobic exercise.

If you have not read the Burst training piece I highly encourage you to add this to your training program for life no matter the goal.

Secondly, 20 minutes before your cheat meal have a good source of fat. From cod liver oil to 6 raw almonds or walnuts. This helps to balance blood glucose but having with the meal will not work. It must be 20 minutes before.
Third, FIBER! A round tablespoon of Psyllium husk, buy it at your healthy grocery store. Have this right before you ingest your cheat meal. What this does is helps to absorb some of the calories from that meal and minimizes an insulin spike and assists the good fat source you had 20 minutes prior.

Does this mean you will not absorb all of the calories? NO! You will, however, minimize them and not have the guilt and weight gain associated with a cheat meal.

Reasons we cheat are: waiting too long between meals, eating sugared foods which makes you crave more sugar, sleeping poorly and adrenal fatigue
